Our Story
Welcome to Little Winns Art Lab, a children’s art and crafts studio in Leigh where creativity and emotional wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We believe children learn best when they feel calm, safe, and free to express themselves. Our space is built around slowing down, exploring feelings through art, and valuing process over perfection — because creativity is about the journey, not the finished product.
We weave mindful moments and gentle STEAM-inspired play into each session, helping children build confidence, self-awareness, and emotional resilience in a warm, supportive environment.
Creative Craft Sessions
At Little Winns Art Lab, we run hands-on art and STEAM workshops for children aged 5–11. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths, and in our sessions it means learning through playful making, creative exploration, and imaginative problem-solving.
You might see activities like colour-mixing experiments, building with recycled materials, or simple science-inspired art projects that spark curiosity and confidence. STEAM supports wellbeing by encouraging children to explore, experiment, and feel proud of what they create.
We also offer younger children’s classes, designed to be enjoyed with an accompanying adult, for a shared calm and creative experience.
